Made-to-Order
Many of our pieces are made-to-order to accommodate your special requests, which may include stone selection, size requests, or metal preference. They are made especially for you to your specifications.
Made-to-order pieces are final sale and can only be returned for adjustments or modifications. If you find that your order is not a perfect fit or if you’d like to change something about it, it is possible that we can help! Contact our Client Experience team here.
All of our band styles are made-to-order. Stock samples of each style are available for in-person to try on, with most styles available in sizes 6 or 9. If you are interested in scheduling a visit to try on our samples, you can do so here.
At Home Try-On
Through our “Home Try-On” service, clients are given the option to view one of our stocked styles in person. The recipient will be responsible for covering the full cost of the desired jewelry piece, alongside a non-refundable shipping cost—a return label will also be provided within your packaging. Once the item is received, you will have three business days to try-on and return the item for a full refund. If you choose to keep the piece, then you will have the option of sending the jewelry item back for a complimentary resize. If the piece is a sample, we will refund your original purchase to a gift card which you can use to place your full order. All items are checked for damages upon return, and Mociun has the right to reject a return if they feel the item is not in resell-able condition.
In-Stock Items
We stock all of our Mociun jewelry rings at a size 6, and can then resize the ring if need be or have the ring remade in your size. In stock pieces are always made in 14K or 18K yellow gold, and rings are typically available in a size 6 or 9. While we keep a wide selection of styles in stock, not every style is available, and the item may have to be remade in your size. Please feel free to our Client Experience team here to confirm if an item of interest is in-stock.
CRZM ring styles are stocked at a size 5, 6, 7. We typically keep each necklace and bracelet length in stock, however some styles may be unavailable at the time of purchase. Chain lengths can be shortened or lengthened at an additional cost. Earring styles are usually stocked and ready for fulfillment.
Ring Sizing
All of our in-stock rings are a size 6. We chose 6 as our sample size because it is the mid range for typical ring sizes, and can be easily resized up or down in most cases.
If you are interested in a one-of-a-kind or collection ring, and are confident in you or your partner’s ring size, please allow up to 4 weeks for resizing. If you are unsure of the necessary ring size, we recommend receiving the ring in its stocked size (6), and later on returning it for a resize. Any rings purchased directly from stock are eligible for a complimentary resize. If your ring was made to order in your requested size and still requires additional sizing adjustments, we will then resize your ring at a fee. If you need help determining your ring size, the most accurate option is to work with an experienced fine jewelry professional. There are many factors to keep in mind with ring sizing, and using an at home kit can often be inaccurate without an expert’s help. Our hands naturally fluctuate in size depending on diet, exercise, and environmental factors.
Insurance
We strongly encourage you to insure all of your fine jewelry pieces. If you have a current insurance policy, it is possible that you will be able to add your pieces onto your coverage.
If you are starting a new policy, we recommend Jewelers Mutual or Lavalier. If your jewelry needs to be repaired and you have active insurance coverage, please contact us at repairs@mociun.com and we will follow up with the next steps on how we can coordinate with your plan.
Insurance Evaluation Report
All rings over $5,000 come with a complimentary Insurance Evaluation Report as well as all jewelry pieces with an accompanied GIA Certificate. These Insurance Evaluation Reports are compiled by a certified Graduate Gemologist. This report provides all of the information required to insure your fine jewelry piece.
All pieces that feature a diamond(s) with a GIA Certificate will also come with a complimentary Insurance Evaluation Report. If you’re not sure if the pieces you’re interested in have a GIA, please check under Item Details on the product’s page.
The total appraised value is inflated to help safeguard against changes in the market. We recommend getting your pieces re-evaluated every 3-5 years at a cost of $50. If you’d like to have your piece re-evaluated please contact hello@mociun.com.*

We are happy to provide insurance evaluation reports for any un-evaluated jewelry item at a fee of $100, to get this process started please contact hello@mociun.com.
Gemstone Grading Reports
Many of our pieces that include white diamonds over 0.50 ct. come with a complimentary GIA Grading Report. You can view this information on our site by clicking on the stone information in the 'Item Details' section of the product page. You will be redirected to GIA's website where you can view the report in full. A physical copy of this information will accompany your order.
For stones that do not include a complimentary grading report, we are happy to add this service for a fee. Please contact our Client Experience team here to inquire about pricing.
Jewelry Purchasing Agreement
Your purchase confirms that you have been provided with proper care information. With your purchase, you acknowledge that proper wear, care, and maintenance of your Mociun jewelry was explained and that you agree to Mociun’s terms, including our returns/exchanges, warranty, and repair policies.
If your order was purchased as a gift, we encourage the recipient to visit in-person or reference our Care Guide to review the care of their piece.
Applicable sales tax is determined by your final shipping destination inclusive of your service fee. You are required to determine how and where you would like to take delivery of your item when payment is provided—this information cannot be changed. Upon completion of this contract, if you wish to retrieve your item from our physical location at 683 Driggs Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211, New York State, Kings County and Brooklyn City Taxes will be applied. If your item is being shipped to California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or Washington, applicable taxes will be applied. At the time of this contract’s creation, Mociun does not collect sales tax in any other US regions, however this is subject to change at any time without prior notice. If Mociun forms an economic nexus in the state you are shipping to before you have paid in full, you will be notified and will be held responsible for sales tax on top of the total price of your item.
Altered (resized or customized) and made-to-order pieces are final sale. Jewelry will not be accepted for return, exchange or credit if it is damaged or shows signs of wear. Service Fees are nonrefundable and will be converted to store credit after seven days if the remaining balance has not been paid in full.
All custom and made-to-order jewelry is final sale and ineligible for returns or exchanges without exceptions. A 50% deposit is required to begin production on a Mociun custom or made-to-order jewelry piece. Unless prior arrangements have been made, final payment is due within seven days of notification that the piece is complete. Final payments received after seven days will be subject to a 5% late fee of the total cost of the ring.
Custom Jewelry Terms & Conditions
Please carefully read and review all information below. These terms and conditions are non-negotiable and offer no exceptions under any circumstances.
To begin working on a custom project, a service fee of either $1,000 or $5,000 is required based on your project. This service fee allows our team to source any required materials for your project. This deposit is applied toward the total price of your finished piece.
You will receive an email containing a link to provide your service fee securely through our website. Payment of the deposit confirms your understanding and compliance with our terms. If you have any questions or at all unclear on any terms, please discuss with our team prior to making the payment.
Our team spends a great deal of time on each custom project, for this reason service fee cannot be returned or applied toward another purchase if you choose not to move forward with your custom piece. Additionally, any other payments made before the balance is paid in full, is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Fulfillment Timelines
Mociun Collection Jewelry is made to order and has a typical lead time of 2-6 weeks, but in some cases can take up to 8 weeks to receive your items. All jewelry orders are processed within 2 business days. Home Goods orders ship within 1-2 business days.
We stock all of our CRZM pieces, however if a piece is not in stock, it will have a 3 week lead time prior to shipping. If you’re interested in a chain but not sure if a certain length is available, we recommend referring to the item’s product page or contacting our client experience team for confirmation at hello@mociun.com.
All orders ship Monday through Friday, with the exception of some national holidays. Our jewelry and home goods are shipped from Brooklyn, NY. Once an order has shipped, Mociun is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen during transit. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our client experience team here.
Shipping
Domestic
We utilize UPS for all logistics & shipping. We offer complimentary ground shipping on all orders over $200, and complimentary next day air shipping on all orders over $10,000 within the continental United States. All other UPS shipping options are calculated at the market rate. Shipping confirmations are sent once your order is en route. Ground shipping can take up to 5 business days depending on the destination. Expedited shipping options through UPS are offered at checkout.
We are also able to ship to P.O. boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses via USPS. If this is your preferred method, please inquire with our Client Experience team here.
All shipments sent to Mociun require prior authorization. Any shipments sent without prior authorization will be returned to sender. Shipments must be carefully packaged to ensure that items are not damaged in transit. Mociun does not cover costs of return shipping. We recommend fully insuring all shipments. If you are shipping fine jewelry, contact your insurance provider to determine your best shipping option.
International Orders
For International orders, we ship via UPS International Expedited shipping. We do not offer free shipping on goods shipped outside of the continental United States. International shipping costs are determined by the carrier. Once an item is in your cart, you can use the shipping estimator on the right side of the shopping cart page to calculate shipping cost. Please note, custom taxes and duties are calculated at checkout. Mociun will not be responsible for the cost of clearing your items through customs. For jewelry orders being directed to France, the recipient is responsible for obtaining a broker to clear customs and finalize the delivery. For international jewelry repairs, the package must be declared as a return and repair in order for taxes and duties to not incur.
In-Store Pickup
In-store pickup is available at our Mociun Fine Jewelry location, located at 683 Driggs Ave, Brooklyn NY 11211, Monday-Saturday, 11am-6pm. If you’d prefer to have your item picked up at our Brooklyn location, please select “in-store pick up” as your preferred delivery option at checkout. A confirmation email will be sent once the item is ready for retrieval. For same day pickup requests, please contact our team here.
All home goods orders must be picked up within 60 days from when the order is placed. If the item is not picked up within 60 days, the order will be returned to digital Mociun store credit, and the items will then be restocked. Store credit never expires and can be put towards any items at Mociun. For Fine Jewelry that is not picked up within 60 days from when your order is ready, our team will contact you to confirm either a pickup date or shipping address.
Order Verification
What is our fraud verification platform?
We have partnered with NoFraud, a fraud prevention service for eCommerce businesses. They screen transactions on our behalf and alert us if they find a transaction is at high risk for fraud. This protects our clients against unauthorized credit card use and protects us against fraud chargebacks.
Why am I getting an email/call/text message to confirm a transaction?
Due to the high value nature of our products, we take every precaution to ensure that every transaction is verified. NoFraud may contact you via email, phone call, or text message if your transaction had an irregular shopping characteristic and/or elevated risk. We want to confirm the transaction was made by the authorized cardholder.
After I confirm the transaction, do I need to do anything else?
After you confirm the transaction there is nothing else you need to do unless you have been asked by a fraud analyst to provide additional information.
Will NoFraud ever ask me for my personal information?
Neither Mociun or NoFraud will ever ask you for your full credit card number, social security number or any other personal information.
Will my order be delayed?
As soon as your response is received, our team will proceed with your order.
I did not make the transaction and neither did anyone that has access to my credit card/payment account. What do I do now?
After confirming that the transaction was truly unauthorized, we recommend that you contact your credit card company/payment account and inform them that your card has been compromised. Review the latest transactions on your account to ensure there is no other fraudulent activity to report. Your financial institution will likely put a hold on all future purchases from the compromised card/account and issue a new one for future use.
Return Policy
All eligible purchases can be returned in the form of store credit or exchange within 14 days of pick up/delivery.* Ineligible items for store credit or exchange include all apothecary items, antique and vintage jewelry, altered (resized or customized) and made-to-order Mociun fine jewelry pieces, used or altered merchandise, as well as items of any category purchased during sale. Mociun does not repair or replace merchandise that is damaged or broken after purchase. Shipping costs are non-refundable and return and repair shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. If a client receives store credit for a return and purchases items using the dispersed credit, the items then become final sale. Items cannot be exchanged more than once.
*All eligible holiday orders picked up or placed between 12/1/24 - 12/24/24 are eligible for return via Mociun store credit or exchange until 1/10/2025.
Initiating a Return or Exchange
Requests can be submitted by visiting our Returns & Exchanges Portal. All returns/exchanges require authorization. We reserve the right to refuse packages that are sent without prior knowledge. We do not offer refunds for shipping costs, credit fees or items damaged in shipping.
Jewelry Returns or Exchanges
All eligible purchases can be exchanged for store credit within 14 days of pick up/delivery.* If a refund to one's original payment is preferred, there is a 20% restocking fee issued upon inspection. Altered (resized or customized) and made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned at any time. We recommend consulting our our jewelry care guide for information on proper care and maintenance.

Damaged Items
Any items that arrive damaged must be documented and inspected. In order for us to honor your claim, we will need photos detailing the package’s exterior and interior, this includes any packaging materials that arrived with the box. Once the photos are captured, you can then submit your claim to our Replacement Request Form below, and someone from our Client Experience team will contact you shortly. Requests must be received within seven days of delivery. Please keep in mind that replacements cannot be issued without proper documentation and requests received more than seven days from delivery or without proper photo documentation will not be processed.
International Returns & Exchanges
How do international returns or exchanges work?
For all international returns/exchanges, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping to Mociun. Additionally, it is your responsibility to properly declare shipments for customs purposes. Mociun is not responsible for any fees incurred as a result of improper declarations.

Can home goods, apothecary & accessories be returned or exchanged?
All apothecary items are final sale. All sale items are final sale. Worn, used, or altered merchandise cannot be exchanged or returned. Mociun does not repair or replace merchandise that is damaged or broken after purchase.
Order Cancellation
Made-to-order and/or resized/altered jewelry orders can not be canceled once placed as our team is gathering the materials to quickly fulfill your order. General Care
Caring for your Mociun jewelry begins with mindfulness, knowing when to put it on and take it off, and when to have it serviced professionally. Our instructions were created specifically for Mociun pieces, but are applicable to all fine jewelry. As a general rule, we advise our clients that if they wouldn’t wear a silk blouse or dress to do an activity, it is a good idea to set aside your jewelry as well. How should I clean my jewelry?
If cleaning at home, polish your jewelry with a lint-free, 100% cotton cloth. Gentle cleaning with lukewarm water, natural dish soap, and a soft toothbrush is also recommended. Always check the tightness of stones before and after cleaning, especially when using a steam cleaner. Never use an ultrasonic cleaner on micro pavé stones, opals, emeralds, or turquoise. Do not brush turquoise—use your fingers to clean. We offer specially formulated Mociun jewelry cleaner that is available for purchase here.
How should I store my jewelry?
Fine jewelry should be stored securely in fabric-lined or leather-lined boxes. Pieces can also be wrapped in soft fabric.
When do I need to remove my jewelry?
Depending on your lifestyle and occupation, consider removing your jewelry during working hours. Contact with potentially damaging materials can be a daily reality. Professionals in the food, art, entertainment, or medical industries, for example, may use their hands much more actively than those with office jobs. Please refer to our care instructions when deciding what works best for you.
- Exercising: Any strenuous activity including cardio, yoga, lifting weights, swimming, etc. These activities, particularly ones using your hands, put pressure on your pieces, causing them to bend, warp, or for stones to become loose in their settings. Chlorinated water can also react chemically with metals, changing the color, weakening settings, or pitting gold. Something as simple as extended time in water can harm jewelry, even if the damage is not immediately apparent.
- Showering or Bathing: Hard water, shampoos, and conditioners can become stuck behind settings, causing damage to your pieces. Soap scum can be hard to remove and causes jewelry to look discolored and grimy.
- Sleeping: The extended heat and pressure that occurs during sleep can wreak havoc on delicate and fine jewelry. Keep a jewelry-appropriate container next to your bed so that you can remove your pieces every night.
- Applying perfumes, lotions, oils, makeup or hair products: Products can build up on the jewelry, damaging certain stones, dulling their appearance, which in turn will require more cleaning.
- Cooking, baking, or doing the dishes: These activities can cause debris to become lodged in settings and diminish the appearance of your pieces.
- Cleaning, especially with bleach or other harsh chemicals: Harsh chemicals such as bleach can pit metals and weaken settings, causing stone loss.
- Gardening: The pressure from holding gardening tools can cause damage to settings even when wearing gloves. Removing your pieces before gardening also ensures that they remain free from dirt and debris.
- Painting, throwing pottery, or play: These activities are best done with your jewelry safely out of the way.
How should I account for my jewelry?
We recommend keeping an up-to-date inventory of your collection, including photographs and insurance evaluations, in the event that an insurance claim or police report needs to be filed.
What do I need to know about gemstone durability and servicing my jewelry, when the time comes?
For earring back replacements, Mociun is happy to tighten loose backs free of charge. We also offer screw-back posts if you’d prefer a little extra security, however it depends on the style of earring. Please inquire with our store staff for screw-back pricing.
We recommend having the tightness of the stones checked regularly by a professional to check for loose gemstones, especially rings. Depending on the amount of wear the piece receives, stones should be checked every 4 to 6 months. Stones should also be checked more frequently at home. You can use a simple pinhead to gently tap the surface and sides of the stone and see if they move. We also recommend listening for loose stones by holding your piece between your thumb and middle finger next to your ear while gently striking it with your index finger. We are happy to provide a virtual demonstration for these techniques upon request. If even one stone is moving, refrain from wearing the piece until it can be tightened. We are happy to provide a virtual demonstration of this method.
Micro pavé set stones require extra care from their owner to prevent loss. Stones should be checked at least every month, until you get used to the frequency with which your piece requires service. Never wear a micro pavé piece that has a loose or missing stone, as it’s highly likely that there is at least one other loose stone.
Precious stones are ordered in ascending levels of hardness from 1 to 10 on the Mohs' scale. Opals and turquoise, which range between 5 and 6.5 respectively, are more easily scratched, whereas diamonds, at 10, are more likely to do the scratching. The Mohs' scale is not a linear scale. Instead it ranks gems on a relative scale based on their scratch hardness; so although a sapphire is a 9, a diamond at 10 is many times harder. Being aware of the relative inclination towards scratching/being scratched is important when wearing and storing your jewelry.
Though it is valuable information, there is more to durability than just hardness. Gemologists define durability as a gemstone’s ability to withstand wear, heat, light, household chemicals, and low or high humidity. Since different gemstones have different properties, they have varying tolerances to these stressors. A gemstone’s hardness is a good indicator of how well it will resist scratches and abrasions. In evaluating a gemstone’s durability, gem experts consider three factors: hardness, toughness, and stability. No single gemstone scores a “perfect 10,” so you should weigh all three of these factors when choosing which gemstone or piece of jewelry is right for you and your lifestyle.
How should I account for my jewelry?
We recommend keeping an up-to-date inventory of your collection, including photographs and insurance evaluations, in the event that an insurance claim or police report needs to be filed.
How should I maintain CRZM by Mociun sterling silver jewelry pieces?
Like all precious metals and stones, your silver is of the earth and alive. Expect oxidation over time — this is a natural process for all silver, even sterling silver. Swimming, bathing, showering, washing dishes, traditional jewelry cleaner, or cleaning while wearing silver will cause it to tarnish more quickly. We recommend storing it in the dust bag with the polishing cloth provided. The cloth is infused with a special compound to help keep precious metals bright, and it is not recommended for cleaning gemstones.

CRZM Silver Jewelry Care
Each CRZM jewelry piece comes with a complimentary silver polishing cloth which is infused with a special compound to help keep precious metals bright. Silver is safe to wear day to day, and with proper care and attention, your CRZM silver piece can last a lifetime while avoiding heavy tarnishing.
Hang on to the packaging materials that come with your CRZM pieces, when removing your jewelry at night, you can use your packaging items to delicately store your new silver piece. If your bag is unavailable, we recommend storing your jewelry in an airtight baggie.
The oils found in your lotion, perfume, sunscreen and even body, will cause the silver to tarnish even quicker. Wiping down your jewelry after wear will help with keeping its luster.
Our 22k CRZM jewelry pieces are also suitable for daily wear. 22k gold is a finer metal and close to being 100% gold - which is 24k. Gold in its natural state is extremely soft, and when wearing jewelry with a higher gold content, the wear will present itself the longer you own the piece. To some jewelry collectors, this is the charm behind 22k gold pieces as they grow and age with the owner.
To properly care for your 22k jewelry, we recommend using our Mociun based jewelry cleaner. This solution is delicate enough to use on your fine pieces, but also harsh enough to remove debris. You can create an at home jewelry safe solution by pouring 2 drops of dish soap into a glass of warm water, thoroughly mixing, and using a gentle cloth to wipe down your gold.
We suggest removing all jewelry while bathing, washing dishes, using chemicals while cleaning, and working out. Our rule of thumb is if you wouldn’t wear a silk shirt to perform a certain activity, then we recommend not wearing your jewelry either.
Repairs & Warranty
We offer a six month warranty on Mociun jewelry and CRZM which will cover the cost of any damages that are a result of manufacturing. However, if pieces are noticeably bent, show improper care, or are damaged in any other manner, repairs will be performed at cost. We offer cleaning and stone tightening on all Mociun pieces where the first service will be complimentary and any servicing after your first service will be at a charge of $35. Outside of warranty, Mociun will perform repairs for a fee. Please note, if any jeweler other than Mociun makes alterations or repairs to your jewelry within the first 6-months, the Mociun warranty will be voided. We are happy to make minor adjustments to jewelry, including resizing, for an additional fee. For international clients, there may be a local option for repair with trusted jewelers in your region.
To initiate a repair, please complete our Service Request Form. Our repairs team will be in touch upon receipt and review of your form. All shipments sent to Mociun require prior authorization. Shipments sent without prior authorization will be returned to sender. Shipments must be carefully packaged to ensure that items are not damaged in transit. Mociun does not cover shipping costs. We recommend fully insuring all shipments. Please contact your insurance provider to ensure that your shipment is protected and determine your best shipping option.

Promotions & Sales
Price reductions on sale items are automatic. Purchases of "Samples & Imperfects", as well as items purchased at sale pricing are considered final sale, with no exchanges or returns for refund permitted. Code-based or sale-based price reductions may not be applied retroactively toward previous purchases or redeemed for cash. No adjustments on prior purchases.
We do not accept offer codes or discounts on our items outside of our seasonal sale. If you find a discount code on an external website, it is not valid and cannot be used towards your purchase.
Custom Consultation Process

Our team will work closely with you prior to your consultation to have stones sourced along with any additional requests. We'll set up an appointment to discuss your project in-person at our Brooklyn showroom or by phone, email, or video chat. During this consultation, you will work towards finalizing plans, taking your idea from a blank canvas to a fully realized treasure. You'll select gems and materials, review designs, and bring your vision to life with our team as your creative guide and partner.
When preparing for your consultation, we suggest you review our one-of-a-kind jewelry archive for design inspiration, and bring any ideas you may have to the point of conversation. Additionally, it’s best to determine your ring size prior to your consultation or if in person, we can size you during your appointment. Keep in mind that resizing may be limited to certain designs, and can potentially impact the structure of your setting. Alteration options vary by style and can be performed for a fee.
Metal: We typically make our pieces in 18K yellow gold, but also work with 14K rose, yellow, and white gold, as well as platinum.
Settings: Most stones can be secured in your choice of round prong, flat prong, full bezel, or modified bezel settings. Depending on your setting preference, there may be additional options such as number of prongs, shape and orientation.
Basket: Some styles can be made with an open basket to reveal more of your stone(s). Closed baskets are also an option.
Shank width: Most of our pieces are made with a 1.7mm shank. While we do not offer a thinner band option due to structural concerns, thicker options are available.
Shank style: Most styles can be made with 1.7mm round, 1.7-3mm square, 1.7-3mm knife edge, 1.7-3mm half round, or modifications of square and round to include raised shoulders.
Custom Pricing
The price of our custom pieces vary depending on design specifications, which include the style of jewelry being made, metal preference, stone count and quality, as well as the overall complexity of your unique design. While we do have minimums in place, exact pricing depends on the scope of your project. Our team will discuss any considerations during the design process and provide you with pricing for your specific project. We recommend reviewing current pieces on our website to familiarize yourself with our pricing.
External Stone Sourcing
We pride ourselves in our selective inventory of unique stones handpicked by our team, and we do not work with stones purchased outside of Mociun for custom projects.
Currently, Mociun does not work with lab-grown stones. While we understand the desire to have a lab-grown stone in your piece as it continues to be a preferred choice for many people. The current reason behind why Mociun does not utilize lab-grown diamonds is that we try to source stones that we find unusual and special in their own way as they help to impact our design. Lab-grown diamonds tend to not offer that same variety.
Working with antique stones is always our preference as they are the most socially, ethically and environmentally friendly option compared to newly mined natural stones or even laboratory created stones. Purchasing a lab-grown stone and bringing it to us to work with wouldn't be possible.
We'd love the chance to still meet with you, show you our options and can definitely put emphasis on sourcing antique stones for your piece.
Heirloom Stones
We are happy to consider working with clients’ personal stones for sentimental reasons, but we ask that you leave the use of the stones up to our discretion when working on your piece. Our team works with engagement rings, antique treasures, single earrings who’ve lost their mate, and family keepsakes; reimagining them into modern heirlooms.
To help streamline the design process, please provide heirloom stones at the time of your first consultation/appointment. We will then send over an Heirloom Intake Form for your review and signature prior to you handing off or shipping the items or loose stones that you wish to rework. If your stone is currently mounted or in a setting, our team of jewelers can remove them from you or you may choose to have them removed by a local jeweler prior to sending them to us. If you’d like to rework a single stone from a setting, we suggest removing that single stone before beginning your project. If you choose to rework all stones in a setting, then all stones must be removed, or we will have our jewelers remove the stones upon your request. All stones must be inspected once received to determine if they are a good fit for your project.
We recommend shipping your jewelry insured via UPS with a signature required upon delivery. Mociun is not responsible for items before they are delivered, therefore ensuring your items will keep them protected while in transit. Once your shipment is received, our team will immediately send a confirmation of receipt.

Our jeweler will remove any gemstones upon your request. Please note that the complexity of this process varies depending on the setting, and some are more difficult than others. While our jewelers take every precaution and are highly skilled, in some cases damage to the setting may occur. Mociun is not responsible for any damage that occurs to personal stones during unmounting.
If you wish to have the setting returned to you with your completed piece, we will safely store it for you until your new Mociun piece is ready. Please indicate if you would like your original setting back prior to shipping your stone(s).
You may seek a credit toward your project if you would like us to recycle the setting. Please indicate if you would like your original setting recycled prior to shipping. Recycling credits are based on weight as well as the exact price of the materials on a daily basis. Our team will inform you of your credit amount once the stones have been removed from your original setting.
Yet, we are unable to recycle your original setting directly into your new setting due to unique alloy mixtures and integral concerns.
If the gemstone(s) you have provided has not already been graded by the Gemological Institute of America or American Gemological Laboratories, our team will initiate this process upon receipt. This process can take up to four weeks. Let us know If you’d prefer not to have your stones graded. Once completed, our team will be in touch with your grading report and will help you schedule a design consultation.
Payment & Shipping
After your design is finalized, our team will confirm all of your choices and send over an invoice for your project. A minimum deposit of 50% of the total price is required to begin production. Layaway and financing options are available if you’d prefer to split payments. If you think you might be interested in a layaway plan, please discuss your options with us prior to your design consultation. Payment arrangements must be discussed prior to production and cannot be changed once your project is in this stage.
Once your payment is received, our team will begin production work on your project. This process takes a minimum of 12 weeks, but can occasionally take more or less time depending on the scope of your design. Our team will provide you with an estimated timeline once your project has been defined. We’ll be in touch along the way with any updates. While we do our best to accommodate expedited timelines, this is not always possible. If there is a particular date you are hoping to have your project completed by, please let us know prior to your consultation.
Once your new Mociun piece is complete, it will be evaluated for insurance purposes by a licensed Graduate Gemologist. An insurance evaluation report will be created and accompany your finished piece. This document provides all information required to insure your piece. We highly recommend insuring all fine jewelry, and refer clients to Jewelers Mutual or Lavalier for this coverage. Insurance Evaluation Reports should be updated every two to three years to ensure that they match the current market value of your jewelry.
After your new Mociun piece is completed and/or has been evaluated, it will then be ready for shipment or pick up, in which you will be notified. Please note that items must be paid in full prior to taking delivery. If there is a remaining balance to be paid, this must be resolved within 7 days. If your item is being shipped internationally, you are responsible for any associated customs duties and taxes. These fees are not included in the price of your item. Any applicable fees are collected at the time that payment is processed. Mociun is not responsible for customs fees.
All Mociun pieces include complimentary lifetime servicing. Servicing is a part of proper wear and care, and should be done one to two times per year depending on the style and care. Servicing typically takes 2 weeks to complete, and includes an inspection of your stones and setting, as well as a professional cleaning. Your finished piece will be fully insured and require a signature upon delivery. Domestic shipping is complimentary via UPS expedited options.
If you are collecting your order from our store, you will receive a confirmation email as soon as it is ready for pickup. Orders can be picked up at 683 Driggs Avenue in Brooklyn, NY, Monday through Saturday from 11am-6pm. No appointment is required for pick up.

Custom Jewelry Terms & Conditions
Please carefully read and review all information below. These terms and conditions are non-negotiable and offer no exceptions under any circumstances.
To begin working on a custom project, a service fee of either $1,000 or $5,000 is required based on your project. This service fee allows our team to source any required materials for your project. This deposit is applied toward the total price of your finished piece.
You will receive an email containing a link to provide your service fee securely through our website. Payment of the deposit confirms your understanding and compliance with our terms. If you have any questions or at all unclear on any terms, please discuss with our team prior to making the payment.
Our team spends a great deal of time on each custom project, for this reason service fee cannot be returned or applied toward another purchase if you choose not to move forward with your custom piece. Additionally, any other payments made before the balance is paid in full, is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Fine Jewelry Sales Assistant
Mociun is seeking a Fine Jewelry Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role must be professional with strong communication and organizational skills geared toward driving sales. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and product knowledge in an inspiring store environment. The successful candidate enjoys fine jewelry, art and design, and is able to effectively and genuinely communicate this to our clients, while achieving a high volume of sales.
The ability to work collaboratively as a part of a small team is essential in this role. The ideal candidate will be excited about the opportunity to grow with the company.

Store Layaways
With our store layaways, there is no interest applied, but we do hold on to your item(s) until payment is received in full. An initial deposit of at least 30% is required to reserve a piece. If resizing a piece is necessary, a minimum of 50% is required to get started on production. Payments can be structured however you please, as long as the balance is resolved within 6 months or less. If you choose to proceed with layaway, you'll make all of your payments through a PayPal link that someone from our team will send to you later on. Once the ring is paid, it is only refundable via Mociun store credit.
We do not offer store layaway on our CRZM silver collection, however you have the option to move forward with store layaway for all gold pieces.

What happens if I make a return?
If you need to return part or all of your order, Klarna will issue you with a new statement. Simply follow our return instructions and make sure to take note of the tracking number. Log into your Klarna account, select “report a return”, and we’ll pause your statement. As soon as the retailer has processed your return, we will send an adjusted invoice.
There's something wrong with my order. Do I still need to pay for it?
You do not need to pay for goods that are received damaged, broken, or defective. Follow the retailer’s dispute instructions and “report a problem” in your Klarna account to pause your statement until the issue is resolved. As soon as the retailer has registered your return, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.
I have not received my order. What happens to my statement?
You do not need to pay the statement until you have received your order. Contact the retailer for a delivery update, log into your Klarna account, and “report a problem” to pause your statement until you’ve received your order.
My statement is incorrect. What should I do?
