Pearce Objects

Nancy Pearce casts objects in solid recycled bronze to create an archive of everyday objects. The artist first cast a dustpan and plastic toys. Pearce wanted to see everyday objects elevated as art objects, while recognizing the unglamorous cleaning and caregiving work behind those objects. When the original objects are long gone, the bronze artifacts will remain.
