Morgan Levine

Morgan Levine is a Brooklyn-based ceramicist making functional pottery using tinted stoneware slips. The results reference 17th century Staffordshire slipware, Turkish Ebru patterns, Venetian marbled papers and French agateware. Morgan fires each piece with a buttery satin glaze, to permanently preserve both her gesture and the slip’s fleeting fluidity.
