Details: These pieces are handcrafted by artist Lucas Caste ct. in France. Each board is unique, characterized by the natural textures and patterns of the wood. Each piece has subtle differences, including cracks, knots, and variations in color and shape. These marks are intentional, as the artist prefers to highlight the raw material's history and its natural characteristics.
Ingredients & Materials: Solid oak wood. Oak is the emblematic tree of the Landes region, where the artist grew up and currently works. All boards are oiled.
Measurements: This item measures ~15.5" in diameter and 1" deep.
Care & Use: Clean with a soft sponge and water, wipe with a soft cloth, and occasionally nourish the wood with a little linseed or olive oil. The boards can safely hold all types of food, but they should not be exposed to heat. Cutting on them will naturally leave marks. It is recommended to use the same side for cutting, leaving the other side pristine for presentation.
Sold individually.
