Repairs & Warranty

Mociun offers a six-month warranty that covers the cost of all repairs under normal wear for the first six months after purchase. However, if pieces are noticeably bent, show improper care, or are damaged in any other manner, repairs will be performed at cost. We offer cleaning and stone tightening on all Mociun pieces where the first service will be complimentary and any servicing after your first service will be at a charge of $35. Outside of warranty, Mociun will perform repairs for a fee. Please note, if any jeweler other than Mociun makes alterations or repairs to your jewelry within the first 6-months, the Mociun warranty will be voided. We are happy to make minor adjustments to jewelry, including resizing, for an additional fee. For international clients, there may be a local option for repair with trusted jewelers in your region.

To initiate a repair, please complete our Service Request Form. Our repairs team will be in touch upon receipt and review of your form. All shipments sent to Mociun require prior authorization. Shipments sent without prior authorization will be returned to sender. Shipments must be carefully packaged to ensure that items are not damaged in transit. Mociun does not cover shipping costs. We recommend fully insuring all shipments. Please contact your insurance provider to ensure that your shipment is protected and determine your best shipping option.

Fine Jewelry & Decor Sales Specialist

Mociun is seeking a driven Fine Jewelry & Decor Sales Specialist. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences in an inspiring environment, while working to expand our brand presence and foster long term client relationships. The successful candidate enjoys fine jewelry, art and design, and is able to effectively and genuinely communicate this to our clients, while achieving a high volume of sales. A proven record of sales and clienteling success and the ability to work collaboratively as a part of as mall team is essential in this role.


This is a full-time position based from our office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and reports to the Store Director.


Responsibilities:
Sales
  • • Prepare the store for opening through thoughtful merchandising, and pack up the store at the end of day with respect and care for all fine jewelry pieces
  • • Create a welcoming store environment by greeting each client and being available to provide information and answer questions
  • • Host in person and virtual appointments with clients
  • • Elevate the client experience by consistently delivering knowledgeable, luxury service
  • • Clearly and eloquently communicate the company’s mission to clients
  • • Represent the brand identity and maintain integrity in interactions, both in person and through written communications
  • • Maintain a strong understanding of the entire product line, as well as company policies
  • • Demonstrate knowledge of third party vendors and product lines, including proper care and maintenance of all home & decor offerings
  • • Liaise with the Client Experience Team to address all client needs for optimized customer service
  • • Master POS and CRM tools provided in order to prepare for appointments and follow-up on all client interactions
  • • Develop personal and team working strategies and selling plans to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals
  • • Follow all safety and loss prevention systems and processes
  • • Follow all established operational procedures consistently and thoroughly
  • • Ensure the shop is clean and presentable at all times

Cleinteling
  • • Ensure that all client information is properly captured and organized to further develop relationships and opportunities
    • • Ensure after-sales service is delivered in a thorough manner
    • • Actively pursue new and repeat clients
    • • Initiate outreach to clients regarding new products, events and services
  • • Develop and deepen client relationships to drive sales and ensure lifetime loyalty and spend
  • • Ensure proper care is taken for all sales, paperwork, receipts and invoices
  • • Possess an ability to listen to client needs and/or milestone occasions to drive sales

Qualifications
  • • Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior sales role, fine jewelry experience preferred
  • • GIA Diamond Essentials and Colored Stone Essentials certification a plus
  • • Ability to work in person (including weekends) at our Williamsburg shop
  • • Proven record of success in high volume, high value sales environments
  • • Strong goal-oriented sale skills
  • • Familiarity with Airtable, Google Workspaces, iOS, macOS, and Shopify strongly preferred
  • • Understanding of market competition and positioning, and client demographic
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • • Compliance with local, state, and federal vaccination requirements
